From this site you can search the library catalog, do research, read our monthly newsletter, and more.  Check the What’s Happening page for up to date information about programs. This is also where we’ll tell you if the library is closing early or opening late in case of inclement weather. The Youth Services page  is the place for information about materials and programs for children, teens, and the people who love them. 

You will need proof of address in order to get a library card or borrow books or other library materials if you do not have your card with you.  You willl need a library card in order to use the internet.  The library does have Wi-Fi if you bring your own laptop.  Your library card will also allow you access to search magazine databases and to download audiobooks to your computer/MP3 Player from your home computer.  On the right side of any of these pages are e-mail and instant message options if you wish to contact a librarian directly. 

The Friends of the Town of Ballston Community Library has been in existence for over 50 years. Membership is a bargain at $5.00 per year and anyone can join!  Meetings are at 9 AM the first Tuesday of each month in the library community room. 

Library Trustees meetings are the last Wednesday of each month at 7 PM, January through November, in the library community room. The public is invited to attend these meetings.

The Town of Ballston Community Library is located at 2 Lawmar Lane in Burnt Hills, NY.  Our phone number is 518-399-8174. Our fax number is 518-399-1687.  Our hours are 10 AM- 8 PM Monday through Thursday and 10 AM - 5 PM on Friday and Saturday. We’re closed on Sundays. Come visit us!  Directions
