If the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central Schools are closed because of weather, the library will not open before noon, at the earliest, as we will need time to make the parking lots and walkways as safe as possible for you.  Please call before you come out - our number is 399-8174.  We won’t charge a late fee for items due on Wednesday that are returned on Thursday.  

The storm warning is in effect until 5 PM Wednesday, so please be prepared for the possibility that we will not open at all on Wednesday.  Your safety, and that of our staff, is extremely important to us.

If there’s a two hour delay, we’ll plan on opening as usual at ten, but please check here or call us before coming out.

We’ve asked to be put on the approved list for school closings for next year, but apparently they make those decisions in August. In the meantime, and in between time, you can always call us or check this website for up to date information just as long as the director still has electricity and Roadrunner stays operational.
