VolunTeen Sign up begins Saturday June 16th, from 10-4 in the children’s room at the library.

Summer Reading Program Sign up begins at 3 PM on June 18th  Here’s how it works: You come in and fill out a form (one form for the whole family). We will give you a Reading Record and you can start reading right away!

You can keep track of the books you read in any one of three ways. If you’re reading picture books, just write down the titles. We’re asking you to read 30 picture books over the summer. If you’re reading longer books, you can keep track of either pages or  the amount of time you spend reading.

You’ll get a person shaped puzzle piece to put up at the library and whenever you reach a reading goal, you’ll get to decorate your person.

If there is a Registration Required (REG) program scheduled for the first week that you wanted to attend, you can sign up for it now. We’re asking you to choose one REG program per week so everyone will get a chance to participate in something.  You can come to as many No Registration Required (NO REG) programs as you’d like.

Whenever you reach 10 picture books, 100 pages, or 100 minutes of reading, you’ll get to pick a puzzle piece. The number on the piece will tell you which kind of prize to pick.  You’ll also get a chance (a raffle ticket) to win a whole bag of cool prizes.

Something else cool and new this summer. If you’re an adult bringing children to the library, get a raffle ticket for a chance to win something like a signed copy of a book or other cool prizes.�
